The World in which we live is a complex system. Human influence over the last 12,000 years, with the advent of
agriculture, the settling of nomadic tribes, expansion of cities, and the increase in population, has been detrimental
to the earth’s eco-systems.
The expansion of the human race all over the globe has seen the destruction of habitat and
the extinction of species.
To manage the resulting impacts on their supporting eco-systems, humans have put in place
taboos or laws to protect their environment. Many of these ancient and effective laws can still
be seen today with the North American Indians, Indigenous populations of South America and
within Australian Aboriginal Communities.
Now it is our turn to seek Sustainable Solutions to mitigate the damage we are doing to our
eco-systems. Our contribution to the increase in greenhouse gases, combined with other
natural climate inputs, demand we seek these solutions. Solutions that require us to mitigate
and adapt to the projected changes.
Carbon Aspects assesses, identifies and provides solutions to assist small, medium, and large organisations
mitigate and adapt to the changes both now and ahead of us.
